great hospitality, Elos and his wife are really nice persons, they were waiting for us at end of our hike in Iprari despite having no connections to receive messages. The guest house is just a bit remote but they drop you back on track for the hike in the morning. we share the meal. with 2 australien backpackers. Good food, and so far the best room over our stay with heather warming up the room. we agreed also for a Taxi with Elos later in the day to drive us back to Mestia. Lovely people.

The guesthouse’s location is superb, next to the church and the start of the hiking trail to Shkhara glacier. The village’s panorama viewpoint is just 3 minutes walk away, and you can be there easily in the early morning before the tourists arrive. The rooms are clean with stupendous views and en suite bathroom. Mamuka’s mother is a whiz in the kitchen: we booked dinner and breakfast with her during our 2 night stay and every meal was delicious. Home-made jams, milk from the family cows, produce from their garden and so on. Mamuka was also very responsive and helpful with advice and booking of transfer vehicle, and we learnt a lot about life in the mountains.

New beautiful house, just 2 weeks old. The interior is just like in the pictures. Beds are comfortable, linen is fresh and soft. Marvelous view from the balcony. Natalia made a delicious Georgian-style dinner, including our no-lactose-no-gluten request. She speaks English and Russian. Helped us to get a horse to cross the river on the way to Iprali. We felt welcome and comfortable.

Amazing place, wonder views, communication with the host is very comfortable as she speaks several foreign languages ​​and is very attentive. I was truly and pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. I felt like I was staying with family. The lady-owner makes breakfast, and it's delicious. Her husband is a man with a heart of gold and many qualities, but he doesn't know how to prepare you a tasty breakfast ask for lady's assistance instead 😄
