Being on the way to Tarbent literally in the middle of nowhere I was impressed that the host was so nice as to help me out with the taxi for the next day and get the cashback as the taxi charged only cash...The room was nice and cosy, wi-fi was good. The vivid example for the other accommodations. Much acknowledged!!

We loved our stay at Anchor Hotel! Our room had a beautiful view over the habour. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We could walk to dinner- a great place called Lullabelle’s on the foreshore. Short drive to Kennacraig ferry. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend!

    Perfect for 2 quick visits getting the early and late ferries to and from Islay. The staff (sorry I cant remember your names..) were very helpful and welcoming despite arriving very late in the evening. Car parking is easy. The rooms look very new and are to a very high standard, in a nice spot but stll v close to Tarbet. Will try to stay longer on my next trip!

    Although the hotel looks a little old from the outside, it is very modern and nice inside! We arrived a little earlier than expected, but it was no problem to check-in as the room was ready. Therefore, we felt like we had a warm and kind welcome! Our room was very large and the bathroom clean and bright! We were lucky enough to even have a room with a seaview 😊 there was a large parking lot so it was no problem to find a space.

    The room was clean and comfortable, though very basic. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer in the room. There was a good choice at breakfast and plenty of free parking in the grounds.

    This was an overnight stay prior to catching the ferry to Islay. and thus its location was ideal being very near the ferry terminal. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts. Plenty of private parking. Great location overlooking the Loch.
