What can we say. Amazing room. The attention to detail was marvellous. Bathroom had a great shower, lots of hot water and pressure. The in house dining was better than 5 star. Marc is an outstanding chef. Freshly prepared each day. Have never had better. Overall I will highly recommend this place. 10/10

Sue received us kindly. The appartment is well-equipped and peaceful. The bedroom was quiet and cool, which is important for sleeping. The property has an excellent location near the centre of Rye. We could enjoy St Marys church and the Mermaid Inn but also a wonderful early morning walk across the dewy meadows to Winchelsea railway station. The path for that walk was very close to the property. We finished our visit with a brief visit to Camber Sands.

    An absolutely stunning location! Easy to find and park (although limited parking but we had no issues!), the lodge was so clean, so spacious and very well decorated. The bed was comfortable, there were amenities on arrival which were appreciated and the hosts were lovely! The view out to the pond is lovely also and there is a nice seating area which had the weather been better we probably would have used! Great location to get to Cherry Barn which we did for a wedding.

    VERY comfortable bed, kitchen with all the amenities you would need for a short break. Bathroom was freshly finished and was left some toiletries. Check in was smooth and quick, we were met at the car while parking.
