Claudio gave us a wonderful welcome. We were thrilled with our room, which was better appointed and more comfortable than any we’d experienced thus far on our trip. The included breakfast was beautifully prepared, and way too much for us to eat—our second morning, we asked for a reduced version. Our original plan had been to stay just one night, but we extended it to two because it was such a great place to take a rest from the road—and such good value for money. Elsewhere on our trip, we’d paid more than that for far less attractive and comfortable lodgings. Just a block away is the large and lovely Albert Park, where we enjoyed several walks.

The hospitality of Nicola made us feel very welcome. The room was very well equipt and was nicely decorated. The lobby was very welcoming with free coffee and water/lemonade. We didn't order breakfast but were offered a very nice complementary continental breakfast.

good location not far from town lovely house everything was clean and good space went with me and my wife but there were another 2 bedrooms spare which was more than enough big back garden neighbours were calm and owner was lovely I didn’t even check the checkout time it was 10 but ended up leaving late at 12 owner was fine with it would definitely come back again

AMAZING, right in the heart of Middlesbrough a stones throw away from bars, restaurants and pubs whilst also being able to have a good nights sleep. couldn’t ask for more from the location. Host was brilliant, always happy to help and easy to contact. I’ve stayed here a few times now and even on the occasion the host himself was out the country his son was able to step in and give that amazing family feel to your stay making you feel at home whilst away from home. The property itself is very modern and up to date and exceptionally clean. Sofa and bed both extremely comfy. All appliances work as they should and all round couldn’t ask for more from the host nor the property itself. Will 10000000% stay here again.

    We were lucky to be upgraded from the one-bed apartment we had booked to a spacious 2-bed apartment, no 18. It was bright, very comfortable and had all we needed for a 3-night stay. Excellent beds, constant hot water, heating if needed. The location was convenient for what we wanted; also a one-stop shop and some restaurants very close and a parade of shops a few minutes away. Just by Dorman Museum and Albert Park. Plenty of free off-street parking. The windows of the flat had been opened before we arrived; most of it was well cleaned.

    The room was ok at the price point and was convenient for Middlesborough, North York Moors and the Redcar coast. The breakfast was good (cereal and full English) but the hours on one morning were limited. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There is free parking on site and a chain pub / restaurant in the adjoining block.

    Claudio is an excellent host who takes care to look after his guests. There is lots of free parking nearby at the weekend and the Guest House is in a great location and serves a great breakfast.
