Modernly furnished rooms, everything very clean, great pub atmosphere, still very quiet at night, all around an excellent place to stay. The hotel owner even drove us to the starting point of our hike. Where else can you find such a selfless willingness to do something good for your guests without asking for anything in return? Just great!

The apartment was very clean and cosy. We enjoyed our stay and loved how such a beauty was crafted into such a space. The apartment had nearly everything we needed, and we were tempted to stay longer. We also loved the fact that it felt like we were really away - the sudden change from being on the road (less than 10 meters from the room), and then in a cosy space felt so unreal. Definitely love to visit again.

Wonderful rural location just off the A12 and a 10 minute walk into Dedham village, plenty of free parking, friendly staff, beautifully decorated and furnished buildings, facilities set over three sites within two or three minutes drive of each other but staff will ferry you backwards and forwards, room and breakfast excellent value and high-end restaurant serves delicious food.

    The location was great, loads of lovely walks and pretty villages in the surrounding area. The property has been really well refurbished and has been tastefully decorated to give a homely feel. Parking on the drive was a great convenience. The hosts were very helpful and got straight back to us when we messaged.
