Very clean and comfortable house. All the essentials were provided for you (salt, sugar, tea. coffee, toiletries, etc), especially good for us as we were flying into the UK and so had limilted space. The host was very quick to reply to our numerous questions which helped a lot.

The house was very quiet, had an atmosphere of calm and comfort..and was a few doors away from a nice local pub! The furnishings were particularly attractive- a mixture of period style and more modern, all in restful, warm colours. There was an eclectic mixture of lovely prints on the walls. The garden was a beautiful bonus. A local corner shop nearby, several buzzing coffee shops within 10 mins walk. Home from home.

Sheila and Steve, owners of Somerville House, were tremendously hospitable hosts - nothing was too much bother, even fetching us plates for our takeout dinner one night. The B&B is a short walk from Hereford train station and not far from the town centre, so it's easy to get around even without a vehicle. The stellar (included) breakfast is served to order, hot and made with local produce. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, with beautiful views of the town and cathedral, and spotlessly clean. A fantastic value for your stay in Hereford - even the minifridge, stocked with local treats and drinks, was remarkably reasonably priced!

    Overnight stay in this incredible historic Inn. Extremely well refurbished, felt original but as comfortable as a modern hotel. Very good evening meal, reasonably priced menu, good full English breakfast. Competitively priced for the area, nice gardens and adequate parking

    Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Large car park so no issues parking. Bedroom was very large with a lovely walk-in shower in the ensuite. The Inn is very old and there were lots of quirks, beams & uneven floors etc, but only to be expected from the age, & it added to the charm . Lots of historical notes & artifacts used to decorate it throughout. Quality tea & coffee & nice biscuits in the room.
