The hosts Peggy and Lawrence were wonderful and friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We would highly recommend Danian if you are staying in Rosshire and exploring the Highlands. It was wonderful that they also accommodated pets as they had a dog of there own. It was so peaceful and tranquil with only the birdsong to wake up to.

The breakfast and the dinner on our arrival were amazing!! Tasteful and nicely presented! Beyond our expectations! The staff very friendly and helpful. Who particularly stood out was the lady at the bar and serving our dinner and breakfast and also the cleaning lady - she has the most beautiful attitude and smile and was very warm in our interaction- her passion for her work was impeccable- the cleanliness of the room outstanding. Room 10 very spacious and comfortable. Easy parking, open bar, restaurant…easy relax after out long trip. Very pleasant bedsheets. We had a very lovely stay from all points!!!

I wholeheartedly recommend The Whitehouse Bed and Breakfast in Dingwall for anyone seeking a charming and comfortable stay in the Scottish Highlands. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The breakfast was a true highlight, with fresh, local ingredients cooked to perfection. It was the perfect way to start a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. My room was impeccably clean, well-furnished, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was equally clean and well-maintained, with everything working as it should. Parking was readily available, which was a definite plus. But what truly set The Whitehouse apart was the friendly and welcoming staff. They were always happy to chat and offer recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, making me feel right at home. I recently had the opportunity to stay at a 4-star hotel for a business trip, and I can honestly say that The Whitehouse provided a far superior experience at half the cost. The personal touch and genuine hospitality simply couldn't be matched. If you're looking for a delightful and authentic Highland experience, look no further than The Whitehouse Bed and Breakfast.     One night stay, all in all fine. You will likely, like many reviewers have already pointed out, have to go into the restaurant to find someone to check you in. Free parking for hotel/restaurant guests at the back of the hotel - no longer paid public parking there - although there was a wedding party in the restaurant that Saturday night, so only one space left in early evening. Walking distance to a large Tesco.

    We stopped for a night in The Waverley, we found it to be excellent value for money, we had a nice hot shower, a comfy clean bed, continental breakfast in the morning. Everything you need and close to all the town amenities. And Free Parking included.
