From the moment we walked through the door to the minute we left we had excellent service. The staff is both friendly and helpful. I have to give special mention to Diane. She made us feel like house guests, not like paying customers. She is a gem, and such a hard worker. Breakfast was quick and delicious, and covered anything we would like. Our room was lovely, and oh-so-comfy. Plenty of parking and a central location helped to make it perfect. We loved Castleton, and would return to the Bull's Head in a heartbeat. Can't wait!

Excellent location for walking, it is remote however Buxton with all its restaurants and bars is only a 10 min drive.. Breakfast was lovely.. Picturesque filled with nature, animals, hills and flowers..

The place is really cosy and very comfortable. Fantastic bed! Perfect location and really handy having a parking space right in front. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The host is also very attentive and friendly. Can’t recommend Foxgloves enough!

A lovely cottage in a fab location. I loved the garden, the stream at the end of it and the ducks and squirrels that came to visit. The bed I slept in was very comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. There was a lovely well equipped kitchen with everything you need including dishwasher and washer dryer.

    It is just the perfect location for accessing the many walks, pubs and restuarants in and around Castleton village, it doesn't have private parking but there is parking on the street and for £8 per day a car park is just a 4 minute walk away. (this is redeemable if you are a customer at The Peak Hotel) The room was warm and cosy, the bed was massive and the view out of the window wasn't bad to look at while we had our morning coffee. Alan, the host, was very welcoming and we are already looking to return as soon as possible.

    The location is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and newly refurbished. Continental breakfast can be delivered to the bedroom or eaten downstairs. A little fenced area I could take my dog to toilet as well as a cute little welcome pack for him with a ball and treats. Free parking and plenty of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
