Stunning property and location with beautiful grounds. Our room was spotlessly clean with a view of the swimming pool. The staff were just exceptional, friendly knowledgeable about the history of the building. Their attention to detail when it came to allergies was amazing. The chef checked and double checked to make sure what he made for me would be ok. I can’t thank all the staff enough for their attention.

The room was perfect for our needs. The dining room was good but made excellent by the extended seating area on the terrace. The bar justified the property being called an inn. We had bar snacks, rather than dinner, all of which were good. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was very good. Finally, there is access by foot to a lovely woodland walk.

    Breakfast and lunch were delicious and superbly provided. Staff were helpful, efficient, friendly and attentive. The garden was large, well stocked with tables and chairs plus swinging chairs. The parasols were big enough to provide good protection from the sun and they echoed quality. Plenty of car parking. The interior of the building was elegant with many interesting features. Every where internally including our bedroom was clean, tidy and spotless.

    We stayed for 2 days as we attended a wedding whilst there. Everything was so well thought out, from the car parking to the side gate, ( felt very secure). The bedroom was located at the back of the property with its own little terrace. Light and airy room with bathroom en suite. Very spacious, very clean.

    It was a very good location for our trip to explore the New Forest. Lots of parking spaces in the car park. We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay. The food was excellent . Loved the breakfasts. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

    Nested in the heart of the New Forest, with great pubs and restaurants nearby, this place is a gem and a very easy stay for a few days exploring the area. The hosts make up the best part of the stay, being very kind and always available. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of choices, and there is private parking (we kept the car parked after checkout which was very nice of them to accomodate).
