Carol was a fantastic host - lovely breakfast, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Appreciated the little thoughtful touches - lots of coffee, tea, milk etc and even a little fridge outside the room if it ran out. Good big car park. The view from our room was stunning. Great location - beautiful scenery and Hayfield village only a 10 min or so walk with another really nice pub Sycamore Inn in the other direction. The bed was soooo comfy! We enjoyed the location as well as the Lamb Inn where Carol recommended we eat. The room was comfortable and clean. Carol made us a delicious breakfast--the "smaller breakfast" was more than sufficient!
