My wife liked it because the bedroom was hot. It was like an oven. We could have turned the radiator off, but in winter it was nice to not be cold. Staff were great.

Deb, the host, is one of the nicest hosts we ever had. She was utterly friendly, helpful, nice and the breakfast she made for us was to die for! We felt like we were in a 5* hotel and at the same time at a cozy cottage with a family member. Country chic and charme describes the location best. You sleep in absolute silence and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. There is no traffic, the only thing crossing our way while walking to the local pub was a deer! It's also closely located to touristic attractions such as Stonehenge and Stourhead. Bear, Deb's dog, was the cherry on the cake to our stay!

The room was immaculate. It is small so would be cosy for a couple but certainly perfect as a solo traveller. I couldn’t fault Jess and Steve who offered a really warm welcome and were happy to help with any queries throughout my stay. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is only a 5 minute walk away and a great place for drinks or food as you need.

I was made to feel so welcome and very special. There is a lot of connectivity around the host and her staff and I felt emotionally embraced into the wonderful lifestyle that is Tarastone. nothing was too much trouble for the host and her staff to accommodate me. I was completely relaxed and felt very at home. There was also plenty of advice on travelling, sightseeing, and they even managed to secure a table at the fabulous local restaurant on a Friday evening, last minute.

    There was parking. Staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The room was very big,pretty, airy. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had an amazing bath. Was very relaxing. We had a fan due to being very warm. Breakfast was very good.

    Really peaceful. Really friendly staff and locals. Reasonably priced, high quality food and drink. We had the second floor room and it was basically like having a whole suite. Good amount of parking.
