Chris and Tracey were amazing, they contacted me before my stay to say local restaurants were closed on Mondays and would I like a meal and small dessert for a minimal fee which I jumped at the chance of. the meal was amazing and Chris and Tracey were really friendly and happy to chat about the house and how long they had been in France. Room was huge with a great big bathroom too! I had a fantastic nights sleep - everything was perfect

Chris and Trace were the perfect hosts. A warm welcome on arrival, happy to assist with anything (they arranged taxis for me which was a huge help); nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was beautifully presented and was delicious. A very comfy bed and large bathroom. I had a lovely swim in the pool within the extensive gardens. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris, Trace and their very pretty home.

Marie is the most wonderful and friendly host. She was able to help with local restaurants, cafes and places to visit. We stayed in a very large, bright warm and comfortable room. The house, gardens and views are amazing-even in the winter rain! Breakfasts were feast of homegrown and homemade delights, including blackcurrant, peach conserve, as well as fresh baked banana muffins and madeleines and scrambled tofu on toast, just a few of the many treats we had. The three course dinner’s we booked in advance were delicious, Marie is an excellent cook, from her mushroom soup to chocolate mouse and my favourite dal and rice, the evening’s with Marie were delightful. She wast the best host. I would highly recommend a stay with Marie and we will definitely stay with her and her wonderful cat, Sangpo again soon.

Christine is a great host. She makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. We loved our stay. It was comfortable, spotlessly clean and easy to find. The private terrace and garden surrounded by lavender was a nice place to sit out in. Plus there was her wonderful pool area. She kindly gave us a bowl of homegrown tomatoes and figs straight off her tree. I had a great massage in her beautiful, relaxing room. It left me feeling so relaxed. We only stayed two nights but wished we had stayed longer. Christine speaks perfect English which made communication very easy. We would absolutely recommend Le Gîte de Lou.

Both Collette & Albert were very kind and superb hosts. We would 100% return if in the area again. The sleep was amazing ...the beautiful smell of the open fire, and meeting our wonderful hosts was an amazing welcome after a long journey!! Highly recommend this stay!
