Amazing location and facilities. Staff went above and beyond. The dorm room is super comfortable. There's a surf school nearby that is great for first time surfers. The hammocks along the beach are super comfortable and make relaxing very easy. I extended my stay because I loved the overall atmosphere that much. Buses to Suva/ Nadi run every hour(ish) so getting to and from the beachhouse is super easy!

We loved the personal, informal flavour of Mango Bay, which I think is the beauty of a 2 star resort as opposed to a bigger, luxury one. The staff are really special and we got to know some wonderful other guests. The setting of Mango Bay is truly idyllic, the sunsets incredible and the food delicious. If you're up for it, take advantage of some of the activities they offer. The day trip into Suva was well worth it. Can't wait to go back

Patricia, her mum and children were wonderful! I loved staying in their home and felt like part of a family. They were very kind, welcoming and friendly. Patricia cooked me a delicious lunch and dinner and breakfast. It was a local cuisine, big portion and very tasty. I would come again!

Great breakfast and buffet in the evening. The kids enjoyed the kids' club. Nice pool. Very welcoming staff. Babysitting available if needed. Snorkeling was ok. Nothing spectacular, though. A strong current, so snorkeling with kids, you really need to keep on eye of them. A glass bottom boat trip we booked from the hotel was very good. Saw some amazing coral.

This place was paradise for us . Perfect place to relax . No worries .The amenities was great . Had a great time relaxing by the pool. Plenty of activities as well . The staff was amazing, friendly and just made our stay even more pleasurable. Will definetly recommend . Value for money .

Absolutely everything! We stayed for two weeks and it was fantastic, we were extremely sad to leave! Before booking, I did the usual and read the bad reviews along with the good. I was a little worried that we would be totally isolated and having to eat all our meals at this resort only, as some of the reviews complained about the food being expensive, and/or not much choice. How very wrong! The food was amazing and the menu changed every single day! I don't think I ate the same evening meal twice. We have two children, 11 and 12, they can be difficult sometimes but they loved the food too. They could even make special requests for just a burger or a pizza and the chef would gladly agree! And the actual resort, yes it's secluded but it's beautiful and very well taken care of. We had hired a car for the whole two weeks but we only ventured out twice!!! The bures were very clean and spacious and the showers were awesome, better than our shower at home, which is saying something!!! Their motto is so true......you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend, we truly loved every part of our stay.......and a very special mention to Jay Jay, who made our stay even more personable.

I LOVED my stay at Fiji Hideaway. I was travelling alone but it felt like I was staying with family. The staff are amazing! There is an activity station where you can rent snorkel equipment or book a scuba tour. The beach is awesome and the water is warm and clear. I hope to return one day. Make new friends! Try the kava!
