Really sweet and accommodating hosts, the setting is otherworldly, it really feels like being on a different planet being surrounded by such a volcanic landscape. Peaceful sunrises with the singing sound of a couple buzzing bees and incredible sunsets, not to mention the night sky filled with stars. The house itself, situated just outside of Porto Novo, is beautiful and cosy too. The beach is right at the bottom and you can walk to the center by it.  We immediately booked another night here for our return to Porto Novo.

If you like getting away from everything and enjoying a peaceful location all to yourself this is the perfect spot. The view from the property is outstanding. The walks and surrounding mountains are awe inspiring. We really enjoyed our stay at this new listing. Our host was welcoming, the house was super clean and the evening meal was tasty and all homemade. Our hosts very kindly helped with finding a private car to the coast when we needed to leave and couldn’t have been more helpful. Definitely a good place to spend a night or 2

Very nice place, clean, quiet and close to the beach. Good strategic spot for exploring west side of island. I would definitely go back there.

I just finished my second stay at Kasa d Vizin as a solo traveler, and it was just as fantastic as the first time! Nestled in the stunning Paul Valley, the views are breathtaking and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The guesthouse itself is comfortable, clean, and charmingly decorated, with a laid-back vibe that instantly puts you at ease. My room had everything I needed to feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan meals; even though I don’t usually eat plant-based, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Breakfast was a real treat and the perfect start to my day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to offer great tips for exploring the area and ensuring I had everything I needed. Their recommendations truly enhanced my experience. We had a great time at Luz d'Sol. It is conventiently located in Paúl, with plenty of restaurants, bars and several minimarkets within walking distance. The rooms are new and clean with comfartable beds. Cold drinks are available 24/7 from a fridge in the hallway. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hospitality of our host Juan and his family. He arranged a taxi to get us to Cova do Paul, including a few photo stops along the way and was happy to provide us with some hints and tips for hiking the area. Our two year old daughter had a good time playing with the kids. A tasty breakfast was served every day in the family's living room and we were even invited for dinner. Laundry service was provided at no additional cost.
