Very special hotel in the rainforest. Take a 4x4 to get there. The last 3 km is really exciting😄. Do not miss the night tour! Perfect breakfast. Having a shower while you feel like you are in the middle of a forest.

The cottage/house was super cozy at very "quiet” place. Leydi, the owner, was super nice and friendly. We had three choices for breakfast. On our request she made the breakfast a bit bigger and shared with us some complimentary bananas from their own garden. We had/saw a sloth on a tree, right in front of the house. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen with dinner few appliances and very basic equipment.

We loved everything about our time here, such a special place, run by a very special couple who are passionate about the environment. Clearly they have worked hard for 10 years to restore the habitat and in doing so they've attracted mary species of birds and animals. This is a very special place. To add to our enjoyment their home cooked food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here if you enjoy the local environment , they have guided walks and this very much adds to the experience

This place was absolutely wonderful! My fiancee booked a week here in one of the casitas and it was our first time in Costa Rica. It lived up to all of our expectations and we were hugely pleased with our stay. The staff was absolutely lovely and very accommodating when we thought we were going to have a late check-in. We loved the fact that it was a working farm and had some lovely walks around the property including the Cabalonga trail, spotting sloths by the pool, and having leisurely breakfasts watching the birds. The location is also nicely situated, tucked away in the jungle giving a remote feel, while also being a short drive from La Fortuna. We would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a jungle lodge stay that doesn't feel touristy or like a resort.

We stayed a week and wish it was longer! The people here made this one of our favorite family vacations. There was so much to do in the area (hiking, sloths, hot springs, volcano, rain forest etc). The food at the hotel was wonderful! Loved the breakfasts with fresh fruit and juices. Everything was made from scratch. We are vegetarian and they had no trouble accommodating us. They checked daily to see what time we wanted to eat. My college age kids didn't want to eat anywhere else. Coffee was fabulous! Luis is a wonderful chef! Giovanni is extremely nice and made us feel at home. He helped us plan our activities and booked several things for us. All of his recommendations were spot on. My kids enjoyed the pool and the excellent wifi.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Several warm pools for soaking and sipping a cocktail. Slides into one pool and the river. Big room with nice terrace (with outdoor bed and hammock, plus jacuzzi that we didn’t try. Set perfectly into the rainforest, with monkeys, birds, amazing wildlife. A wonderful end to a wonderful trip to Costa Rica.

This 2-bedroom house was absolutely perfect for our family with two kids! We give it a perfect 10 out of 10. The host was incredibly friendly, the house was spotlessly clean, everything was in excellent condition, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. Our son enjoyed the pool whenever he could. We had a wonderful stay and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone!
