if you want to be in the middle of nature then this certainly your place. Don't forget earplugs if you are a difficult sleeper because it can get noisy a bit once it turns into night :-) Also the staff is very friendly, they arranged for us the cacao tour with a local family and business but also gave us pointers on things to see on our trip through Costa Rica.

Excellent hotel with wide green spaces and great view on the volcano. The new rooms (suites in 700s) are spacious and modern. The hotel staff and manager are very helpful and get out of their way to make the customers happy and satisfied. Highly recommended hotel, definitely will be back to same hotel again. Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.
