Everyone was so helpful! I booked this place to sleep for a few hours before my early morning flight. They picked me up from the airport bus stop and then dropped me off a few hours after. I booked a quad room and they were nice enough to give me my own quad room so I wouldn’t bother anyone waking up in the middle of the night. Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I’m ever back in Costa Rica! Thank you!!

Just coming back to give another review following our second stay at Casa Cafetal following our arrival at SJO and having stayed for two further nights at the end of our trip in Costa Rica. Everything was perfect as before. We had a rental car on our final day and were able to easily park into the gated parking space provided. We used the washing machine/dryer to wash our clothes - maybe some basic instructions to start might help - but it was quite straightforward after working out how to use it. All the cooking facilities were great and it's very convenient to get some groceries at Fresh Market over the road from the house. Once again, the host Manuel was excellent. Make sure to ask him for some tips on local customs, driving and places to visit before your trip as it is so helpful!

Olga was a wonderful host. Secure garage parking was a bonus. Close to airport and shopping mall. Loved the fresh fruit platter delivered for breakfast. Appreciated toiletries in bathroom and washing machine. Supplied variety of tea and coffee.

Absolutely everything was amazing! Edward and his wife were so welcoming and prepared. They let us check in a bit early so we didn't have to lug our stuff. Edward even took us to the airport at 4:30 AM! Amazing people, luxurious place (even provided bathrobes). I would go here again in a heartbeat.
