We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

I was worried at first that this might be the wrong choice, since it’s a bit far from the park entrance and the main hiking trail. But this place turned out to be absolutely magical. I would recommend it to anyone. While sitting outside on the little terrace, I saw so much wildlife right in front of the cabin: two types of monkeys, an agouti, parrots, a sloth, a squirrel, iguanas, tons of birds, and even a snake. The cabin itself is super comfortable. It feels cozy, and the bed is really nice. Also, it’s easy to catch a small shuttle or bus from here to both the main park entrance and the starting point of the hike to Cabo San Juan, which makes it a really convenient base. Truly an unforgettable stay in Tayrona.

Do yourself a favor and book this eco hostal! It was AMAZING!! The rooms were spacious (including a hammock on your balcony, ensuite bathroom, aircon and TV), the breakfast was lovely, the pool was beautiful and the views of the river made and surrounds put you at ease. The location was also ideal, walking distance from really good restaurants and about 2kms to the entrance (El Zaino) of the Tayrona National Natural Park. P.S. Getting there was also easy, just take the green bus (not sure the name) from Santa Marta and hop off right at the Hostal.

The French couple who own this place are really wonderful hosts, the rooms are comfortable, food fantastic and there is plenty to do in the area including hiking trails and beaches, plus it is close to Tayrona Park entrance. Beautiful lodges with the most amazing views of Tayrona National Park. Friendly staff and delicious meals. Highly recommend the massages - very good value! Great location for visiting the park as the local bus stops right outside every 15 minutes! Loved the pool and the chill out areas.

What a beautiful stay, stunning. The park is incredible and was such incredible views from the hotel. The staff were incredible, offering cocktails while we were in the jacuzzi. The room was lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is great, really good people. Hugo and the girl (unfortunately I don't remember her name) were very kind and friendly. The girl cooks really good, we had great dinners there! The hotel is inside the park, very close to the entrance. You either gotta walk for 1 hour to get to the parking and then start the hike through the forest, or you can take the buses. The room was clean and protected of insects and mosquitoes.

The staff was amazing (they were also super nice to each other - great teamwork), super friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden, nice pool area and very quiet (like no loud music playing). Family friendly (we don’t have kids but there were a lot of families). We also used the laundry service and the parking lot - everything perfect. The restaurant and breakfast were good.

Friendly staff, spacious room, good breakfast. It's inside the park, 20 mins from the entrance and half an hour walk from the parking lot. You can order dinner as extra, it's a bit expensive, but the portions are big. They have two very cute puppies.

The host family is incredibly kind and helpful, the supper was great, the kids had a great time feeding and playing with the parrots, the facilities and property were comfortable and just what we needed. Mosquito nets were new and the room was very clean. We also found it helpful having parking inside the park, for our rental car (it meant we could enter the park later than the masses and drive flexibly to the parking lot at the trailhead early the next morning). I would highly recommend staying here!
