Hotel was very easy to reach from train! Location was lovely. Owner was welcoming and it was perfect for a night prior to hiking. Breakfast was great with a nice choice.

We had a great stay – the accommodation was excellent value for money and had everything we needed. We loved our stay at Alpen Resort & Spa! Thanks for the upgrade to a room with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! We really enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool and all the other spa facilities as well. The hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants in Zermatt. Accommodating staff. Afternoon cake and tea. We could use the spa during our last day as well which was very convenient as our train back was leaving in the evening.

Location was excellent and the environment was very nice. We were greeted by a Portuguese lady who made us feel welcome right from the get-go. We got an upgrade when we got to the hotel and stayed in a family room instead of the budget room we had booked, the room was amazing with a wonderful view to the mountains. We were sad we couldn’t enjoy more the hotel and the facilities like the pool. Breakfast was amazing with so much variety! We definitely want to go back!

Very nice place: good location, large rooms, cleanliness. The kitchen has a lot of things (including coffee) that can be useful for preparing breakfast or dinner. The owner is very polite, reliable and kind. In fact, I am in great admiration of the place and I got a lot of pleasure from staying there. Thank you, especially to the owner for your attention and care! I recommend it to others and I will definitely stay there next time! Thank you!

This hotel in tasch is an excellent choice for a trip. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station, it is very convenient to get to Zermatt, the owner was very nice, and waited for us until 10 o 'clock in the evening. The breakfast the next morning was excellent, comparable to a high star hotel.

    Fabulous location if you're looking to go to Zermatt, Marco the host was very helpful and friendly and organised a taxi to Zermatt for us at lower cost than train and very kindly let us leave our car in his car park the following day.

    Nice quiet location in Randa. Very friendly host who reached out prior to the arrival and shared all the requited info on the arrival, parking etc. Amazing views from the window. Fully equipped kitchen.
