This cozy guesthouse was one of our stops during our road trip through Armenia, right in the heart of one of the country’s famous wine regions. We chose it for its excellent location, comfortable facilities, and promise of a homemade breakfast — and it didn’t disappoint. As a wine lover, I was especially excited to explore this area and taste some delicious Armenian wines. We planned our stay here to celebrate my birthday, and everything turned out just right. The setting was lovely, the room was spacious and clean, and everything matched the description in the listing. The homemade breakfast was fresh and satisfying — the perfect way to start the day. Parking was also easy and available right outside the property, which was very convenient during our road trip. We’re grateful for the peaceful atmosphere and the warm welcome we received. The location is stunning. You are sleeping on a cliff's edge and looking out on a beautiful landscape. Whether it is stargazing at night, or enjoying the sunrise. You will not be disapointed. Breakfast was delivered on the porch and just so lovely. Please do not forget to eat at the Cave restaurant by the same owner. And join one of their wild life tours. We just felt so lucky we found this gem and couldn't believe it wasn't fully booked for the coming years.

We went to Areni for the wine festival, and had the pleasure of staying here! Amazing family, Martin was extremely nice and helpful and his father gave us a tasting of the wines they make! The location is great, next to a market and an atm. The terrace is also amazing!

The owners, Len and Armina are an Australian-Armenian couple. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Armenia in general and the local highlights in particular. Communication is super easy in perfect English, which is a rarity in Armenia. The hotel is a home from home, in a garden next to a river with magnificent views of the magnificent mountains. I stayed at the Areni Lodge for three nights and highly recommend it.

We loved everything and especially the nice family running it. The room is very nice, the bed is comfortable. There is air-conditioner. Great WiFi. There is a parking lot in the street. We had beautiful traditional breakfasts, and we could also order super dinner including delicious traditional food, a lot of vegetable and the best wine I've ever tasted in my life. Their big dauther even sang for us lovely Armenian songs during dinner which was so lovely. The whole family was so kind and available. Areni is also pretty.

The host Anna was amazing. She took really good care of us and made to feel at home. The home cooked meals where amazing as was the included breakfast. The internet was great which was helpful. She is also a tour guide and suggested some places to visit. They also have free car parking .

Easy to find, double bed (hard to find in armenia) with good matress. Private bathroom. Very clean. Very helpful Host. Good communication in english. In thé village with people (if you liké that, i do). Quiet. May 2023. 2 rooms (a third is in préparation). Parking available in thé street.
