You get the full japanese experience when you land including traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners, the dinners are amazing so take the half board. The rooms are big, beautiful and facilitated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by train outside of Kyoto but if you like to leave the crowds behind at night it's worth the commute.

A free shuttle is available from JR Katata Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away. staff were very nice and they answered me quicky possible.

The hotel also offers massage treatments and a sauna. JR Ogoto Onsen Station offers a direct transit in 20 minutes to Kyoto Station. Everything - the private onsen in the room was lovely and the public onsen was amazing- there wasn’t anyone else around so was incredible. Food was also amazing.

The 11F Onsen is the best!! The view is extraordinary, also the water's heat is very fine. The full set dinner also gives lots of Japanese taste I was looking for. There's also transportation provided by Yumotokan for arriving and departing customers to the nearest station.
