Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the ryokan is allergy-free and features a hot spring bath. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site.

Guests can relax in the hot spring bath at the property. There is also a public bath that can be reserved for private use. The okyakuya ryokan’s history is amazing. I learned a lot.

Outstanding service, amazing food (dinner and breakfast included, both multi course exquisitely prepared works of art!) , facilities were lovely (private onsen), very comfortable bed, wonderful stay.

Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

It also features a lounge with complimentary coffee and WiFi, a terrace and a garden. Free parking is available. What's not to like? From the moment we entered the parking we were treated like VIPs. We're not used to that! The room with its own onsen was really spacious and quiet. The property is beautifully landscaped. We didn't try the public indoor onsen, but the outside ones were lovely. Meals were beautiful and tasty and the servers were so kind. We also got an onsen pass and tried some other onsen in the town the following day - highly recommend but not needed with all the facilities here. It was a really nice treat to stay here.

We had a wonderful experience at Nanjoen...the Kaiseki dinner was fantastic, the staff was kind and helpful, location was terrific.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the public area. The vibe is amazing, staff is very friendly from the moment you arrived the hotel. Their staff are very skillful that they can parking our big size car, don't be afraid to ask them to park your car. Food is amazing and all kind of varieties, and do not need to worry about the hotspring, they have so many on site.

An unforgettable experience! This was the first time my wife and I visited an onsen ryokan and we were completely blown away! The facility is settled in the middle of nature in complete serenity. You instantly notice great attention to the tiniest detail in how the place is kept and managed. We took the half board option with the private hot bath and we loved every bit of it. The water was at the right temperature (pretty hot) and the food was absolutely amazing. A big thanks again to all the staff, the service received was on a level that I had never seen yet in my life and we travel quite a lot..
