We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Room is big, clean and quiet, typical Japanese style. Breakfast was awesome, and the onsen was exceptional. Just locate at the entrance of the Sainokawara Park, and just a few minutes walk from the Yubatake and the Otaki no yu Onsen. Mrs Miki is soooo nice! This hotel is close by Otaki no Yu, and reasonably walkable to the center of the village. The space was clearly remodeled recently and so the rooms are super nice, clean, and it's clear that the hotel has spent great attention to detail! I also really liked the ease of use of the onsen facilities. I have been to many japanese style inns and this was the most clean, orderly, and good working condition that I've encountered. I also thought it was nice that there are only 4 rooms here so it never felt busy or crowded. The staff were also all very kind and helpful. They made a great breakfast both days, with good variety of dishes and high quality of ingredients. I had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and luggage storage space. The ryokan features family rooms. We have booked a room with our own private onsen as part of it and it was exceptional. If it weren‘t for the bugs (which the hotel can‘t do much about), it would be absolutely perfect. The rooms were super spacious and the beds very comfortable. Having Kaiseki in our very own room really adds to the whole experience of a traditional, Japanese inn. I also recommend trying the public baths even if you have one in your room, it is really good too!

Oyado Tamaki offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a traditional garden with benches where guests can sit and relax in. Guests can refresh in the massages chairs at the relaxation rooms and enjoy a ganbanyoku hot-stone spa. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and JR Shibukawa Train Station is a 15-minute drive away. The best onsen ryokan we have stayed in so far. We have stayed in countless ryokans over the years, but none came close to Oyado Tamaki. Great food, great water, great location, and great staff. All our needs and request were met instantly. It is such an exceptional place, and we cannot wait to go back again.
