My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. A spectacular location, close to the forest, with the opportunity to walk along nice paths surrounded by beautiful trees. The room was absolutely fine, while the hot spring was a bonus. Breakfast was mainly local style, but we were okay with that. On the whole wonderful for those who love nature

Soundproof was superb. Great for Sexual activity. Bathroom was soo spacious. My wife and i love it. The private onsen in the hotel room was great.

Very good location near the metro station and the park. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and all other areas of the hotel are beautifully furnished. The onsen and pool area is wonderful and peaceful to relax after a busy day.

Private hot spring in the room, also can visit their public ones for free. Specially prepared baby bath tub and towels (didn't ask for it). Staff were friendly and accommodating (see -ve review). Good breakfast spread (local taiwan + some western food). Very nice chinese tea (and tea set provided) and end up going to the shop and buying the tea.
