My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. Friendly staffs and gave us a tour and introduction at arrival. Love the in-room Onsen. The room was huge and well set up. Has every thing you need for a comfortable stay. Drinks and snacks are provided for free. Free shuttle service to and fo train station is a bonus. Breakfast is great and it privides both Taiwanese and Westen options.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room comes with its own hot spring and an amazing view which is something truly special. Additionally the public spa with sauna is also available for the guests. The breakfast is modest but delicious.

The hot spring water flowing directly into the bathrooms is incredible! I had so many wonderful, healing baths. The staff were very kind and hospitable and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff looked after me so brilliantly and made sure I had plenty of vegetarian options to eat. The room was cosy and beautifully clean. I will definitely be back!
