Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Great motel that is conveniently located in Weed CA as we were driving up to Oregon from San Francisco. They were available when we checked in past 1am. They had fast WiFi and nice rooms for a motel. There was one desk in the room for us to work at. They were conveniently located next to their cafe, which had delicious food and we got free coffee with our stay.
This motel and cafe is a long time favorite of ours. They keep this roadside wonder in good shape. And the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet.

The Motel is right off the freeway and perfect for some one or a group that is just having rest time there and are exploring more of Shasta. We had an absolute amazing time, it was very clean, and the owner was very polite and helpful. We had tons of restaurants and stores we could walk to. Definitely will be our place to stay every time we visit Shasta County.
A very quant mom and pop type motel. For being open since 1951 this place is very well maintained. The rooms are cleaner than grandma’s house. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Would have rated higher but the Cafe was out of food??? and a little rude when asked about it. The Cafe is really not part of the motel..business wise. Because when I asked the front desk about the food problem in the Cafe they said they couldn't help us. So the Cafe perk provided with the room was pretty much worthless. Other than that, the room was small but clean and comfortable and had a nice view out the back to Mt Shasta. I would recommend as long as you are not depending on the cafe...We found a good Thai restaurant insted.
Check in was a breeze. Comfortable bed, spacious room, and easy access of the freeway. I like the café that was adjacent to the motel at the same property. Depending on where your room is located, do you get a view of Shasta out your window.
