Room was average, shower wouldn’t turn on, only bath. Pool was advertised and promoted on site but has been closed all season. Staff told me my payment had been declined and almost made me pay again.

If you're a budget hotel frequenter like I am, don't be afraid to step outside the "big chain" norm for this one. I was a little hesitant to stay in an unknown place, but the local chains had such bad reviews that I chose this one. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and there was a full sized fridge and microwave. The bathroom was nicely renovated and the shower pounded me like...I mean the shower was as hot as lava. Seriously, I wish I had that shower at home. I've always thought hotel carpet was kind of gross, and this one has clean hardwoods. So maybe pack some socks if your tootsies get cold.
