Room was a good size and had everything we needed. Parking excellent.

Featuring direct beach access and free Wi-Fi usage per day, Alpine View Motel is only 1 km from Kaikoura Train Station. Heated guest rooms are fitted with a satellite TV.

I appreciate a lot for the service from the Motel owner. She and her daughter were so helpful that they have picked us up at the bus stop and sent us back the next morning, since we don't have a car and our luggage was heavy and the bus stop was a bit away from the Motel. Room was very nice and functional. You have everything at hand and even cook a little bit if hungry. Heater and fan is provided which is very considerate. The supermarket just a few footsteps next to the Motel. Great view of the sea behind the Motel.

I loved that the accomodation had an information book which included advice on who to call if medical assistance was required. Turns out we needed this info and it made the situation less stressful. We also appreciated the lady on reception who changed our room to the ground floor. That was really thoughtful as my parents are in the 80’s and it would have been difficult going up and down the stairs. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Very practical and clean room. Nice view on the mountains. We forgot to get the breakfast but you can get it if you ask before 5pm.

This is by far one of my favourite places that we’ve stayed during our trip around the South Island! Great location, super clean and lovely, modern decor (the bathroom was particularly nice!). The bed was super comfy and the room was large too, along with a great kitchen area which would be great for making a quick meal if you needed to. overall, it was an incredible stay!
