Motels in Franz Josef

The Alpine Glacier Hotel was clean and comfortable for our family of four. The receptionist was very lovely and helpful with any of our requests. The motel was a good distance from local stores and restaurants such as Snake Bite Brewery and The Landing and the tourist attractions such as Franz Josef Glaciers and the Fox Glaciers, not too far if you have a car.

I have stayed at Aspen Court once previously. Because I was impressed on the previous stay I automatically booked this motel again. Aspen Court sets a standard for the industry in New Zealand in every possible way. Our unit was warm and spotless on arrival. Our room was generously sized and very well appointed. Beds were super comfortable and cosy and there was a generous supply of extra bedding if required. The kitchen was very adequately supplied with utensils (we cooked our evening meal!) and the bathroom a treat.

This motel is in a fantastic location right in the heart of town. The rooms have an airy and alpine feel with large windows and A frame ceilings. The room came with all the amenities I needed.

Our room was large with a place to eat and two comfortable armchairs to relax in. The bed was comfortable and the heating fine. Location was great and we could walk to restaurants. The whole motel was spotless. Great views of snow topped mountains from the motel.

Lovely motel with everything we need. Shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
