Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
I liked the Location, I enjoyed the ground floor patio/garden view toward Quadra Island. It motel was within walking distance to restaurants. The reservation desk clerk gave a great recommendation for a super breakfast place a short drive away. I liked the neighbors (deer) that wandered through the property.
The motel has a beautiful little backyard with seats and tables and a breathtaking view out to Quadra Island. The room is nice and clean. It has everything you'll need (coffee machine, fridge, microwave etc.). The receptionist was very helpful. We would certainly stay there again.
I needed location and wanted to overlook the ocean. This charming motel has lovely staff. The decor hasn’t been updated since the 1970’s. It felt like going to sleep away camp. But it worked for us.
Quirky older style Motel. Receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming. Room was clean tidy and basic. Tea/coffee/fridge and microwave was available. Location was perfect, next to the estuary. Renovated to a degree and adequate for our needs.
A budget motel with the most surreal view of the river. Rooms were equipped with a basic kitchenette including fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom included various toiletries and a hairdryer. Each room has access to an outdoor patio/garden area overlooking the river. It’s incredibly beautiful!
