The bar and restaurant staff in particular were so welcoming and accommodating and just genuinely kind people! They make the Explorar an exceptional place to stay. Also if you are looking to stay in a quieter part of the island where beaches aren't overrun and life feels a bit slower, then this is the location! Lastly the food and drink quality was impressive and the staff are very capable of being accommodating to your needs and preferences!

The food was another standout. With an Italian-inspired menu and a wide variety of choices available for every meal, we were always well-fed and impressed by the quality and freshness. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Peaceful, stylish, and run by a genuinely kind team – we’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui!

The restaurant concept is impressive. The food was exceptional. I am impressed at the consistency especially with the size of the menu they're dealing with.

Lou Lou Restaurant was a highlight—the food was so good that we kept ordering more, and the pricing for both food and drinks was very reasonable compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, we experienced food poisoning during our last two days, but the staff were incredibly helpful and caring, doing everything they could to assist us. This hotel is truly unique—offering a boutique feel rather than a big resort vibe. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the perfect spot for you.
