I rented a room here last minute when I decided it would be best to spend one night in Tangkou after hiking Huangshan rather than trekking all the way back to my lodgings in Huangshan City (60 km away). This boutique hotel is a gem--beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The staff offered to pick me up from the bus stop after a long day of hiking in torrential rain (they had provided their WeChat number, and replied almost immediately), and also arranged for my transportation back to Huangshan City the following day (the price for this latter was just a bit higher than the intercity bus I took on the way there, and was much more comfortable). They also recommended the best hiking route for my second day on Huangshan (which turned out to be spectacular). The hotel exceeded all of my expectations and I would certain stay there again! It's in a wonderful spot (surrounded by mountains right along the river, a short walk away from one of the scenic area entry points). Mimi, the resident kitty cat, was also adorable.

Really helpful manager picked us up from the airport , helped us plan our trip up the mountain for the following day with maps and then after good breakfast drove us to the ticket office for the bus to the cable car station. Everything about this hotel is excellent. The cleanliness level is on super high level, variety of food is great and the staff was magnificent. Kristy and Cecina from the front desk were amazing and really helpful.

The location was close to everything i wanted to see and had great valet service. The breakfast catered to international travelers and there was pleantly of room for large groups of people. The breakfast staff was very attentive. The room was spacious and had a bathtub which was great for soaking in after a long day of sightseeing, also the shower was in a seperate location.
