A hidden GEM waiting to be discovered. The pictures posted on the hotels website and booking.com do not give it justice! Imagine after checking in the hotel, you come down from your room in your swimming gear, head down to the hotels reception, who will provide you with a big towel on your way to have a quick swim. The cath is that the hotels swimming pool is basically a natural river that passes directly in front of the hotel, surrounded by mountains and nature all around. It's hard to summarize my emotional rollercoaster for that day. I had a pretty dreadful day in the back country and rolled into the villa quite late. To my surprise I was greeted and treated as if I came come home to family. Before I could unpack I had plates of food, stories, wine, it was amazing. The location is gorgeous. Plants and flowers everywhere. Grapevines pumping out little grapes for the wine. The pictures looked nice although it wasn't until I actually got there where I stopped and it really hit me how beautifully set the place is. Breakfast was also A+ with extra fruits picked right off the trees. It honestly felt like a little retreat at a family member that wanted to spoil you.

There are really no words to fully describe how wonderful this place is. Literally amazing, definitely our best stay during our trip in Albania. We stayed just one night due to the short period of time we had, but we wish we could have stayed longer.Ada and Marcel are incredible hosts; they made us feel welcome from the very first moment and interacted with us on many occasions, giving the best advice and sharing lots of emotions. Their place is a gem surrounded by nature and beautiful mountains, far from the noise of the city but still close to it (around 10 minutes by car from the old town). The room was really beautiful with a great view, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was super: tasty juice, an omelette made from the eggs of their chickens, who you can see crawling in the garden, then butter, orange jam, and bread, all of them homemade, and to finish, a crepe with Nutella. Everything was delicious. We also had dinner there: we took the pork meat, of which we could smell and taste the grill; tasty salad with tomatoes, onion, and cucumbers; and to make our evening more interesting, we ordered a bottle of one of the 4 red wines that they produce. Super tasty. We also tried 2 glasses of another red wine and 2 glasses of their only white wine. Really tasty as well. Absolutely fair prices for what we had. We’d like to thank Ada and Marcel for this amazing experience and for making us feel at home. We will definitely come back!

Completely amazing apartment, would rate higher then 10 if possible. Beatiful very spacious rooms, amazing bathrooms, balcony with great view on the city. Host was very friendly, explained everything. Would stay longer then one night if we had the time. Definitely worth the money, you get much more then you pay for, best apartment in gjirokaster:)

Our experience at the apartment was great. It was fully furnished with care, furnitures are brand new and modern. It had everything we needed and made us feel like home. Very comfortable beds. Coffee and tea are offered by the owner. Free parking near. Elona, the owner, is very very helpful, responsive and kind :) They will make you feel like home and try to make your staying more beautiful.
