Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. The cottage is charming, quaint, exceptionally well kept and has everything you would need for a perfect couple of nights away. The bed is comfortable, bathroom facilities clean and adequate and the kitchenette has it all. The outside patio is quaint and peaceful, with a nice piece of lawn to sit or lie on. Braai facilities, while maybe a little detached from the areas one would sit, were clean and adequately stocked with wood and braai utensils. Extra wood was easily available at R50 a crate (at the time of writing) The fire pool is small but more than adequate for amount of guests the cottage hosts, which is 2.

The Luxury Garden Suite can accommodate 2 guests and comes equipped with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower, TV, Wi-Fi, and a Nespresso machine. Other in-room facilities include a laptop safe, USB charging station, Netflix, and a bar fridge. Our second time to stay here and we’ll be back! The elegant rooms and suites come complete with wooden furnishings and offer a balcony with views of the mountain. The air-conditioned units include a seating area, fireplace, flat-screen satellite TV and en suite bathroom. We have stayed here before and simply love it! Most beautiful view in a very exclusive setting, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast on the balcony is the best way to start your day!

Nestled amongst vineyards at the foot of Helderberg Mountain, near Stellenbosch, the Eikendal Lodge features lush gardens and a pool.

Continental Breakfast is available at Eikendal Lodge. Cucina di Giovanni Restaurant @ Eikendal is serves lunch from Tuesday to Sunday, and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. It is located in the wine cellar which is a 15-minute walk from the main lodge and 1 minute by car. Great location, wonderful breakfast, amazing view, and very attentive staff.

Located in Koue Bokkeveld, 49 km from Ceres Golf Club and 49 km from Ceres Zipline Adventures, Ribbokskloof Cottages and Campsite provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. We arrived relatively late, but the owner came to us to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Later, after dark, she even provided us with more coffee and made sure the fire was burning.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. - the view from the superior suite is phenomenal, especially the sunrise (you can see it from your bed!) - location is beautiful - room is comfortable, with a small kitchen and a fireplace (which is needed in winter) - breakfast on the terrace by the pool with nice views

With mountain views, Mont Eco Game Reserve is located in Montagu and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. We had the pleasure of staying here for our honeymoon and my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely Pauline and her team, setting the tone for a magical stay. Our lodge was stunning—better than we could have ever hoped for—and the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us, with a special mention to Nugent, who made our stay even more special. Because of the intimate nature of the reserve, we also had the opportunity to connect with other guests, which added to the overall experience. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the game drives. During our three-night stay, we participated in five drives, with the morning ones proving particularly rewarding. Our ranger, the wonderful TK, not only kept us safe but also enriched our experience with his deep knowledge of the wildlife. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon and birthday celebration so memorable. We would love to return in a few years and relive the magic!
