Henry and Mariluz were such accommodating and generous hosts. Henry carried our bags all the way from the ferry landing. Mariluz made such delicious home-cooked meals! The lodge had charming landscaping and stone work, and the hot shower was something we appreciated on the rustic island. What a delight, after a day of exploring, to sit on the lounge chairs outside, read a novel, sip on a glass of wine, and look out at the magnificent view. Plus it was fun to look at Mariluz's beautiful crochet work! Amantani Lodge gets a ten out of ten!

An American breakfast is available at the lodge. I loved the experience of staying at Adolfo and Justa's place on a beautiful, tranquil island of Amantani. The host was friendly and nice and the house is clean and comfortable. The sunrise view over the lake from the room was breathtaking and Justa's cooking was delicious. I was also the first Thai guest here. It's about time there should be second and third and so on?
