A children's playground and a barbecue are available for guests at the lodge to use.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming. A very quiet and peaceful location. The room (Elephants) was very spacious. Will definitely stay here again when next in the area.

The location was remote and beautiful!!! There were some easy walking paths with lovely sites. The rooms were well appointed, beds extremely comfortable. The common areas are also inviting. Hosts John and Samara were gracious and welcoming.

The suite was well presented, consisting of a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. we were provided 4 super comfortable beds, 1 king and 3 singles which was perfect for our 5-person family. Auto lodge staff were very accommodating considering the last-minute nature of our booking (unexpected) it was handy to all amenities which was great, as it was our first time in New Plymouth.

Second stay at auto lodge with my dog. Room was in desperate need of a refurbish- chipped tiles in bathroom etc, last stay I had a super nice room. However it was clean, comfortable and warm! Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic.

The absolute star is Trish - she is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The lodge is better than a home from home. The attention to detail in the room, comfy bed with lots of fluffy pillows, excellent choice of toiletries and a very generous breakfast to name but a few - care has been taken in providing everything you could need and more. Highly rate this accommodation.

I booked at Egmony Eco lodge as all we needed was a place to sleep, I knew we were going to be out all day. The beds were comfortable. And there was plenty if parking. Also room for the 4 and 5 year old granddaughters to run around outside when they got up in the morning.

Auto Lodge has been my go to for years. This was my first time in this room class ... OK for a solo traveller but would possibly be a squeeze for two people. Real comfy though and super convenient to the city.
