This property is exactly as described and shown in pictures only better. We loved every minute. The outdoor tub, the night sky with one night even having a slight aurora glow. The Highlander cows who posed for photos. The delicious breakfast that came with the room, the glass bedroom. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ mother who stopped to check to make sure we were not lost while out exploring. While the location is a bit remote, that was what we were looking for, and it is a short drive into the town of Twizel and the nearby lavender farm. The Peace Ring was temporarily closed but we could see it from the road. Highly recommend!

The accommodation has excellent views of the Lake and is only a 2 minute drive from the restaurant. The room itself has amazing bathroom facilities and amenities (fridge, microwave ect) and a little table and chairs where you can eat food with a view. If you are like me - don't worry about parking.
