The place is absolutely stunning — the design is unique, with so much attention to detail. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Everything felt truly pampering, and the property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The staff really take care of everything you might need. We were on our honeymoon, and they surprised us with a lovely handwritten card in the room — such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they care about the little details. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Don’t miss it! And at night, the sky full of stars is just magical.

Establecido a 40 km de Sesriem Canyon, Desert Homestead Lodge ofrece una alberca al aire libre, un jardín y hospedaje climatizado con una terraza y WiFi gratis. Nuestra estancia en la cabaña fue muy cómoda. En ocasiones en las que hacía viento entraba arena dentro de la estancia, cosa inevitable encontrándonos en el desierto. Contaban con mosquiteras para poder proteger la cama. Disfrutamos de unas cenas deliciosas, con unos postres muy originales. También contratamos la excursión a Sossusvlei, y fue espectacular! Desde el guía turístico hasta el picnic que nos prepararon para comer ante tan impresionantes vistas! Totalmente recomendable!

El alojamiento superó todas nuestras expectativas. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Los amaneceres, las puestas de sol y las noches estrelladas son increíbles. Tiene una ubicación estratégica a 1 hora de Sesriem. Con una vista impresionante del desierto y perfectamente integrado al entorno natural. Muy limpio. Todos los servicios son excelentes. La cocina es muy profesional. Disfrutamos de las mejores cenas al aire libre de todo el viaje. El personal es super educado y servicial. Solicitamos el desayuno para llevar, lo prepararon muy completo y bien empacado que pudimos disfrutar al pie de la Duna 45. Sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos encantados. Gracias a todo el personal por brindarnos una estadía inolvidable.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Fantastic sitting area with infinity pool overlooking the mountains. Had dinner watching the warthogs in the garden. Totally recommended!

Our stay at Hoodia Lodge was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a special place — peaceful, breathtaking, and full of heart. The scenery was so beautiful that the sundowner almost brought me to tears; it was one of those rare moments that truly stays with you. The staff were exceptional — caring, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could feel that they truly wanted to make every moment perfect, and they did. Their warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel completely at home. The trip to the dunes was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

Con Sesriem Canyon a sólo 34 km, Namib Outpost cuenta con hospedaje, restaurante, una alberca al aire libre, una terraza y un bar. Excellent employees, helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great location and the watering hole meant I got to see more animals than expected. Given was an exceptional guide for my tours also.

Large and very well-kept complex of spacious, clean and comfortable cottages, right next to the entrance to Sossusvlei Park, which was our objective to visit. We stayed for one night and spent a relaxing evening.
