Limpieza impecable, el mejor wifi de todo Sri Lanka y como no, el anfitrión, Anjalo. Desde el primer momento ha estado super atento, dispuesto a ayudar en cualquier momento e inmejorable la verdad. Tuvimos un problema con el transporte que habíamos contratado para nuestra siguiente parada, y al comentárselo enseguida nos encontró una solución, y eso que ya había finalizado nuestra estancia. We LOVED everything! The view of the bridge and the jungle were absolutely stunning! It was a short walk down to the bridge if you wanted to get on the tracks which was great. The room itself was absolutely perfect. All of the amenities we could have asked for and you could tell it was very new. It was also a short tuk tuk ride into town when we wanted to do some shopping, and our host was so generous to give us a ride when we needed. The family that hosted couldn’t have been any sweeter, and we were so grateful for the time we got to spend there and the opportunity to have met them!!

NETHSARA cottage cuenta con vista a la montaña, WiFi gratis, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, y está ubicado en Ella, a 6.4 km de Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. The owner was super welcoming, she prepared a very nice breakfast. Room was clean and we loved the view from the balcony.

It is about 20 mins from Ella tourist central, which we loved and the host family were super friendly and responsive. Visit if you can.

We loved Arawe and would have loved to stay longer. It’s a beautiful place with such a unique style that’s honest to the environment. It’s fabulous to support such a sustainable and community focused business. Very kind and warm welcome from all of the staff. Always there to help. The kids loved the animals. We also participated in a morning yoga session which was just me and my 7 year old daughter. The yoga teacher adapted the session wonderfully to suit us both. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, so much so we asked to come back for breakfast again even though we couldn’t stay a second night.

Sat on the train writing this and genuinely feel sad to have left this place. Felt like a home away from home (with better food and views). The whole family are so so kind and we felt like and extension of their family during our stay. The accommodation is lovely with your own separate bedroom and bathroom (even mini fridge) with the most beautiful terrace overlooking the hills. We had some of the best food of our whole trip here. The breakfasts were huge and delicious and they were very flexible with timings so we could get out early for walks! We also did a cooking class with the family which was a highlight and learnt how to cook so many dishes! The son gave us a tuktuk ride to the beginning of our walks and to the train station at 0630am! (and even found out for us that the train was running from the next town instead) We also rented a scooter for the day which was a great way to explore the surrounding area and they gave us lots of pointers about where to go! Cannot fault this place at all. If you are lucky enough they have availability on your dates, definitely don’t hesitate to stay!

El Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center se encuentra en Ella, a 3 km del puente de 9 arcos de Demodara, y ofrece jardín y WiFi gratuita. Super clean and nice place. A big shoutout for the yoga class in there, it is super good 🙏

Muy bonito en plena naturaleza. La família muy amable. Desayuno completo. Toda habitación muy nueva y limpia.
