My husband and I didn't expect to be spoilt rotten by his spectacular host abilities - from transporting us to and from the bus terminal, to cooking our daily breakfast, to pointing out the best slopes, sorting out ski/snowboard rentals and issues, even lending us bus money when we didn't have enough on the last day (which we paid back promptly). The room cleaning service was also very prompt. He even gave us onsen tickets on the last day??? There are no words to describe how grateful we are, no idea what we've done to deserve this. Rooms were super clean, neat, heated, and showering facilities were amazing. There was a dry room where our rented equipment were dropped off and picked up. The bus stop to Happo One (Nakiyama) slopes were just out the front door. This has been the best accommodation experience in our lives and we definitely will be back. It truly felt like a cosy home away from home. Thank you Mr Chan from the bottom of our hearts!

A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Tomato. It exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful place to stay for our first visit to Hakuba. Close to the Main Street of Echoland with everything you need. The private onsen after skiing each day was fantastic.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. The room was very clean and Mr. Toshi was very helpful in anyway possible. The onsen was also very good and was very affordable.

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. Great location, a short walk up to Hakuba Goryu. It's great to have this classic Japanese hotel reopened by the hard-working crew. Erica, Hiro and the team made us feel very welcome and at home. Good drying room and bath facilities. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was a great bonus.

Snowhere ski lodge offers a terrace. Dan and everyone who worked there were so welcoming and friendly, gave great advice about the different resorts, he even dropped us to local mountains every morning. The onset was amazing and the breakfast was great! Dan did a bbq night for everyone and we joined for a ramen night also at a local restaurant, the lodge felt so homely and a we had a really great stay.
