Las vistas son espectaculares y se pueden admirar los amaneceres de una forma increíble. Las recepcionistas son super amables y nos ayudaron con todos los transportes para llegar a las atracciones, así como nos ayudaron a hacer las reservaciones de varias que nos recomendaron. Siempre estaban muy al pendiente de lo que necesitabamos. Definitivamente regresaría a este hotel!

The host was really friendly, considered our comfort for example by serving us dinner to our room. The dome we stayed in was comfortable. The area is quiet so it was nice to hear the sounds of nature arround you. We felt peace and was able to disconecr from our busy last days in Costa Rica.

In the middle of a natural forest, perfect wooden cabins. The room is large and includes a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. A warm hostess who helps with anything you need. We felt like we were in heaven. Highly recommended.

Contando con un jardín, una terraza y un restaurante, Private jungle “Loft del Rio” river access cuenta con hospedaje en Uvita con WiFi gratis y vistas a la montaña. This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

The grounds were spectacular with mountain vistas, fresh ponds, and incredible landscaping. The staff was friendly and welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were beyond words in terms of choices and level of culinary creativity and experience. Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented on our patio in a jungle setting. Everything we experienced was at a heightened sense of creativity, and honoring Monteverde’s beauty with love. Thank you Javier and Sian for a wonderful stay.
