The house was beautiful and we loved our outdoor "tree-shower". There is a beautiful path to the beach via the property full of nice decorations. Along the path you can pickup some beach toys to borrow and on the beach there are benches and shelter from the sun, it was perfect! On the property and along the beach we saw green macaw, howler monkeys, one sloth and several poison-dart frogs. It is a short walk to town for restaurants and groceries and visiting the national park.

Everything is absolutely beautiful - the garden, the pool in the middle of the jungle, the houses.... The hosts are very nice, helpful and funny. It is close to the very pleasant village of Cahuita. Delicious breakfast with lots of varieties. Nice dinner place nearby.

The owners of La Rana de Cahuita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with various tropical plants and animals. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Cahuita National Park.
