We had an amazing stay! The location, the owners and the room itself were great. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning and loved it. Also the owners were really helpful. They made sure that not only the place where you stayed was great, but also that you got to visit every place where you wanted to go.

Our stay at the lodge was truly wonderful. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the view from the property was simply breathtaking. The lodge is family-owned, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made our experience even more special. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail ensured that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

A nice place in the center of Sri Lanka. Away from tourists, close to wonderful nature. A unique place. Clean and fragrant. We enjoyed entering the room after a whole day of sightseeing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, although the selection could be larger. Frank was a godsend when our car broke down. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to arrange a mechanic. He ordered tuk-tuks for us and stayed to organize technical help. We highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Ayona Misty Hills was truly unforgettable! Nestled in the hills with breathtaking views of tea estates and vegetable farms, this place offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and convenience. 🌄 Scenic Beauty & Tranquility – Waking up to panoramic hill views and enjoying a leisurely walk through the tea estates in the crisp, cool air was the highlight of our stay. 🏡 Cozy & Homely Stay – The accommodation felt just like home, complete with a equipped kitchen for added convenience. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making the stay super comfortable. 📍 Perfect Location – Though surrounded by nature, it’s still close to the city, making it easy to access essentials while enjoying a peaceful retreat. 🤝 Friendly & Safe Neighborhood – The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the area felt safe throughout our stay. 🍽️ Great Dining Flexibility – Having the option to pre-order food for dinner & breakfast was a huge plus, ensuring we could enjoy delicious meals without any hassle. 💰 Value for Money – Given the location, comfort, and experience, it’s definitely worth every penny! We had a wonderful two-day stay at Hill Safari in Ohiya. The view from the balcony was incredible, and I could have spent all day there. However, many hiking trails start from the hotel, like the Devil's Staircase, which shouldn't be missed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with planning our treks. The food at the restaurant was very good, but you need to inform them in advance if you plan to dine in. Nights are quite chilly for Sri Lanka, and while there’s no heating, the blanket provided was sufficient. It's wise to bring something warm. The hotel is very close to Horton Plains, making it a great base for the park, though I personally preferred all the trails near the hotel.

The host is super friendly. The rooms are very comfortable - light and airy. Nice shower. Quick tuk tuk to the centre of nuwara Eliya.
