I had a very good time staying at Machcha. Kamal is a great host. :) The bungalow has two rooms with terrace in a beautiful garden. You can hear and see the birds and lay down in a hammock under the trees. The owner makes breakfast with love (fresh fruits, tea, avocado with toast/Roti, smoothie, egg). The location is perfect for exploring Sigiriya Lion Rock or have a day trip to Polonnaruwa. The nature is very nice. ;) Your host can help you with information about tours and what to explore around. It's also easy to connect with other travellers in the hostels around. The rooms are big, clean and very nice. With a big bed and A/C. we had an amazing experience with our host. he speaks English and can help you getting around easily. the breakfast was amazing with nice loca discoveries. the view on the lion rock from the hotel is already worthy. rooms are very quiet in a lovely garden and ultra clean. we can only recommend!!!!
