Huge park, larger than Central Park in NYC.
Huge park, larger than Central Park in NYC. Lots of trails and paths, beautiful landscaping and gardens. Cal Academy of Sciences is a must visit with a planetarium, aquarium, and rainforest inside. We walked along the bay from Pier 33 it us a long way but plenty of places to stop grab food or coffee and you see some quaint places. We took a bus back from the visitor centre at the top by the toll gates. Well, what can I say - the one and only. Beautiful seaside ambience, fog blowing through the eucalyptus trees, and so many amazing things still echo from days gone by. Be aware of your surroundings but enjoy the magic.Guest review byJoelUnited States

Golden Gate park has sooo much to offer including its history. There's a conservatory, a Japanese tea garden, stables, two museums, countless wooded and grassy areas for any kind of sport or recreational exercise, they've even got Bison.
