The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The kids got little teddies upon arrival. They helped us with directions around the city and the rooms were extremely spacious. We will definitely be back!

Location! Staff! Room! Vibe! Sorry, I'll stop with the exclamation marks now. Seriously, this place is a gem. It's really close to two subway/CTA stations, it's in the heart of downtown Chicago, the staff were just lovely, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I loved all the little touches that made the stay a little bit extra; the free reusable water bottle, the water station in the lobby, Dash, the Pineapples Pup, the individual duvets etc. I would recommend Staypineapple to anyone. On a side note, as a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this hotel.

Very good central location, friendly staff, clean and nice place. The view was amazing from the room, do recommend upgrading for it if view matters for you.

We liked everything. Even though it took them a few minutes to locate our reservation for che- in due to mistake in the last name the staff member went out of his way to apologize and provided extra water bottles. Room was perfect and so was location and service.

Riu Plaza Chicago is attractively situated in the centre of Chicago, and features a fitness centre, free WiFi and a bar.
