Stunning spacious room with comfy bed, hot water, a safe, air con, fans, lovely extras in the bathroom eg coffee soap and loofahs, good towels, big bottles of water each day, turn down service - amazing coffee of course, generous breakfast, stunning rooftop fir guests only before 10 and after about 3.., very kind staff

amazing people, amazing interior, best stay during our trip in Zanzibar. next time must have is to take an option with included breakfast, we were sad that we did not choose this option. room nr. 1 was amazing, our best recommendations to our friends and everyone. super location, you can walk for few hours, than come back and go for a walk again, because everything is very close and you do not need to leave the hotel for all day.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

Idyllic, serene, luxurious island resort with incredibly friendly staff, from the General Manager, Mr. Serrour and our host, Samuela, all the way down; all of whom went above and beyond to make our stay uniquely personal, memorable, enjoyable and relaxing. Some of the most fantastic Sunsets to enjoy as well. This all truly made it a one-of-a-kind stay and one we'll never forget surpassing all our expectations. Great choice of restaurants and food led by the amazing executive chef - Chef Giovanni, who was kind enough to create some incredible dining experiences for us. The Swahili breakfast is a must try. Also a special mention to Ju and William as well. Sad to leave and definitely hope to visit again sooner rather than later - I couldn't recommend a stay here enough! Everything. This place was BEAUTIFUL. The decor and feel was amazing, check in and out was easy, good wifi, little balcony, amazing bathroom with good water pressure. I really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the fact that they used refillable products in the bathroom and offered a filtered water to fill jugs/bottles, rather than more plastic. Breakfast was also excellent, as were the staff. The only disappointing thing was that we weren't staying longer.
