The hotel is located in the heart of Stone Town, near all main attractions. The room was beautifully decorated (Arabica Suite) and the coffee & food was delicious! All staff was super friendly and helpful & made our stay wonderful. The 360° view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful! As we had to leave really early for our flight (midnight) & would have missed breakfast, we were given free complementary lunch instead & even got a little breakfast box packed to-go. Thanks a million! We had such a wonderful stay & recommend this place to anybody - either as accommodation or just for a coffee & delicious pastry!

The location and overall aesthetic of the hotel was remarkable. It was clean, modern and very well equipped! The staff was oh so accommodating and pleasant! I thoroughly enjoyed every meal especially Breakfast… which was a hit! The fresh fruit juices were chefs kiss

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

I was assigned a dedicated butler, and I can’t praise him enough. He went above and beyond in every way, ensuring I was always comfortable and had everything I needed. Truly outstanding service! The room was absolute perfection—elegant, spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully designed to blend luxury with local charm. Every element, from the linens to the lighting, felt curated for a flawless experience. The surroundings are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen—nature at its most breathtaking. And when night fell, the African sky came alive. There’s something magical about it that made me feel deeply connected and completely at peace—like being home in the most unexpected way. Honestly, this hotel deserves 7 stars, not just 5.
