This is a wonderful place to experience Tunis Medina as it is in the heart of the old town. The house itself is like an ethnographic museum with the old architecture and interesting elements of the interior - something I recommend. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and breakfast is gigantic and delicious.

Very close to Barcelona station, Madina markets and all landmark. Cooperative staff (Amneh, Arzaq, Yahiya, the chef and ALL indeed). Fresh and delicious free breakfast. Comfortable facilities. I tried two rooms (single bed & a free-upgraded family room) both are excellent.

    This Hotel has perfect Location, It is near all important Attractions and Medina. It is very Clean , what was very important to us in Tunisia. Staff was very nice, especially Mrs Emna!!!     Great location. Friendly and helpful staff right down to the cleaning staff. Interesting decor and history of the building. Balcony overlooking the old medina gate was a bonus. Food was good by Tunisian standards. A wide selection for breakfast. Dinner options limited by the kitchen having no lamb or octopus when I dined there but dishes nevertheless cooked well. Easy to pick up a taxi from in front of the Hotel (a necessity in Tunis as public transport is not good)

    In the heart of the Medina of Tunis, in a quiet alley that is however two turns from the city's souks, there is this fabulous nineteenth-century palace now a hotel, where you will feel at ease. Very kind staff, the hotel is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast with many choices and plentiful, we also had dinner there: the restaurant is in a beautiful room with cross vaults, the food is exquisite and the manager is a Tunisian gentleman who is really kind and helpful. We will return soon!

    Our experience in Tunisia was made particularly amazing because of this apartment. If you want to experience the Medina lifestyle this place has a great location, lovely rooms, and a very nice and warm courtyard. The owner was a wonderful host who also offered us a reasonable and safe taxi service, very polite, patient, and at our disposal for the entire stay. We would have lost a lot of time finding taxis considering it is difficult to enter the neighborhood by car. Highly recommend.

    I had a lovely 8 nights stay at this hotel, it's in a quite area very near the train station, the medina and the main avenue. My room was cleaned every day. The breakfast had plenty of different foods providing for a good breakfast. There is a bar upstairs where you can have Tunisian beer. I checked in late at night and they waited for me as the flight was delayed 1 hour. Bed was comfortable. Recommended!

    Hotel has modern, relaxed feel. Excellently located on the high street with vibey eateries, bars and close to Medina. Breakfast is excellent. It was better than some 5 star hotels in Tunisia. Linen was super clean and new and the towels were the softest I've ever experienced in a hotel. I had a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the vibey main road. It was North facing and quiet once the two balcony doors were shut.

    The hostel has a nice, relaxing garden, a comfortable common area to meet other travelers or get some work done and even a rooftop tarace. The rooms and common areas were very clean. Everyone is really nice and gives great advice not just for your time in Tunis and daytrips around Tunis but also other parts of Tunisia. While it is not in the medina, it is in walking distance.

    This hotel was easily the most luxurious of our month-long stay in Tunisia. Once we stepped through the large decorative door from the Medina, we felt we entered a magical world. From the stunning architecture, to peaceful courtyard garden with birds singing, the spectacular rooftop view of the Medina and Kasbah from the restaurant and outdoor seating, the Hammam / Spa, the endless beautiful art works throughout, to our enormous and beautifully appointed rooms.

    It was nice to have a tradionally Tunisia breakfast, but it would of been nice to have a buffet style, felt sometime the breakfast took to long to come out. The hotel was in an excellent location right in the middle of the Medina

    If someone stays in a hotel located around Avenue Habib Bourquiba, he/she can easily walk to the Medina and the rich in colonnial architecture streets nearby. Also evening/nights walks on Avenue Habib Bourquiba are very pleasant, as it is gull of people even late at night.
