Great, very new Hotel in great Location towards the attractions of Colombo with very clean rooms in a good size and great pools and many restaurants and bars. Extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel, from the great welcoming staff in the Lobby, to the Front Desk, to Housekeeping (Sanju in Floor 9 was great!), the Head Sommelier Wellington, the staff in the restaurants and bars, and all Security Guards and other staff throughout the Hotel. While the Hotel itself is great and on 5-Star level, the staff made the experience extraordinary. Staying here at the end of our two week Sri Lanka trip was a perfect last Sri Lanka experience.

    Shangri La Colombo is wonderful - the staff and service is top class (special shout out to Rasika and Dishan at the breakfast restaurant), exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms, superb breakfast. The view from the ocean facing rooms is stunning. Central location in the city center with One Galle Face mall connected to the hotel and close to many of the attractions.

    Stayed one night before my flight. Very basic hostel with no hot shower. Room was small, but the common area was big and comfy. Central location—about 10 mins walk to the beach and One Galle Face mall. Good for a short transit stay

    Apartment is in a high rise which is well equipped and is comfortable. Location is best with Galle face green and One Galle face mall at walking distance. Owner is helpful and very prompt in his replies. It felt like home away from home.

    Excellent location, by the ocean; close to a good local restaurant and a supermarket, close to One Galle Face Mall. The view from the rooftop is absolutely magnificent and admiring it from the beautiful infinity pool is just something else. Exceptional breakfast. Clean, spacious, luminous, practical and elegant rooms that combine traditional Sri Lankan home design with Japanese minimalism. The city view from our room was splendid, especially at night. Polite, helpful and efficient staff.

    Memorable stay at Taj Samudra. Got upgraded to a club level ocean view room on checking in. Room was spacious and was very comfortable. House keeping staff were wonderful. Breakfast was good with a lot of varieties to choose from. Location was great facing the lovely Arabian Sea. Situated very close to tourist areas including the Dutch hotel shopping precinct and One Galle face mall is walkable. Overall a memorable stay with the family.
